Acquisition Surveys

As a preferred tenderer for the Roads and Maritime Services we have undertaken many Acquisition Surveys along the existing Highway alignment and the proposed corridors for bypasses at Nambucca, Devils Pulpit, Woodburn, Broadwater, Ballina and Tintinbar.

AHD Height Surveys

With standard levels, digital high precision levels, trigonometrical, GNSS and hydrographic technology, Kennedy surveying can quickly and surely measure, confirm or monitor AHD surveys for floor levels, construction datums, hydrological information or any other levelling need.

Boundary Marking Surveys

Boundary surveys can range from simple residential pegouts to solving historic boundary interpretation disputes. Our registered surveyors have years of experience in pegouts, MHWM determination, boundary disputes, road purchase and much more.

Building Construction Setout

Kennedy Surveying has commercial, industrial, residential and governmental construction site experience from multi storey commercial high rise to heritage listed redevelopment. Field staff utilized for construction projects include high precision measurement and coordination techniques, latest surveying technology and are supported by a team of surveyors who can support large scale projects during increased workload.

Cadastral Boundary Surveys

With multiple Registered Surveyors and years of experience in Subdivision, Strata Titles, Community Titles, Mean High Water Mark determination and Old System definition, our office is capable of handling any cadastral enquiry. Our Registered Surveyors are experienced in Title legalities and have prepared expert witness reports for Supreme Court legal cases.

Community Title Plans

Community Title plans require detailed knowledge of the Community Scheme titling system as well as practical advice for developers. Kennedy Surveying has been involved in Community Plans, Precinct Plans and Neighbourhood Plans for residential, commercial and industrial developments.

Easement Surveys

GIS Integration & Overlays

Kennedy Surveying can create, manage and interpret Geographic Information System data to provide information for integration with GIS platforms or provide plans based on this information. Photomontages, google earth information, point cloud data and more can be measured, sourced or edited for any GIS system.

Hydrographic Surveying

Kennedy Surveying’s hydrographic vessels are headed by a 25 foot ocean cruiser “Double Zero“. With integrated technologies and systems best suited for hydrographic surveying we can provide small and large scale surveys, or combined land and hydrographic detail if required. Our 25 foot cruiser is backed by a tinny and kayak, threaded with sounding and GPS mounts, to ensure no area is to tight to survey.

Identification Surveys For Conveyancing

Identification Surveys or Idents are a pillar of development and conveyancing in NSW. They are the only means of assuring that the building and structures intended for purchase is in fact what is being purchased, the principle of Caveat Emptor certainly applies to property transfer. For a fee of typically 0.2%-0.55% of purchase price (depending on complexity) the Identification Survey will determine location of buildings and structures in relation to the boundary, report on encroachments from neighbouring properties onto the subject site, check title encumberances such as Easements, Covenants, Restrictions and more.

Infrastructure setout requires the expertise, available resources and previous experience that Kennedy Surveying provides. Our large scale Infrastructure projects have encompassed hundreds of kilometres of pipelines, conveyor systems, earthen wall dams, residential major project civil works and more. PCA Lease Area Surveys

Property Council of Australia (PCA) lease surveys are often required for contract establishment, new developments or conflict resolution. We can provide timely delivery regardless of size or complexity or any lettable area survey defined by the PCA (GLA, GLAR, NLA) or non-PCA lease areas if special requirements are needed.

Strata Plans

Strata Schemes are useful systems for many residential and commercial developments. Kennedy Surveying has experience with mixed use, serviced apartments, resorts and many more stratas, that like all Strata Schemes, have very specific needs. Having an experienced surveyor is crucial to avoid future conflict.

Subdivision Plans

Subdivision Plans are the definition of land, at the date of survey, that a land title is based on. An experienced surveyor will allow a owner/developer undertake the creation of a new Title in a swift and unhindered manner. Kennedy Surveying is highly experienced in Subdivision Surveys and currently has subdivision plans involving Mean High Water Mark determination, un-alienated Crown Land, structural encroachments and multiple occupancy.

Topographic/Infrastructure Detail Plans

Topographical and Infrastructure detail plans are the key to good design and integration with existing site features. They are often needed to overlay survey detail, GIS data, imagery and design works. Kennedy Surveying can provide any type of Detail Plan using TPS, GPS, Laser scan or hydrographic technologies integrated with any GIS platform or CAD system.

Kennedy Surveying has major project experience with WAE plans for high rise construction, pipe lines, civil works, bridge construction, industrial machinery, transmission lines and more.
