2008 Excellence Awards
Each year the Institution of Surveyors NSW together with the Association of Consulting Surveyors hold an awards night for NSW surveyors who have achieved excellence in the fields of surveying and spatial information. This year there were seven different categories including;
- People & Community
- Infrastructure & Construction
- Extra Dimension
- Sustainable Development
- Spatial Information
- Cadastral Surveying
- Mining Surveying
In addition there are on offer several individual achievement awards for;
- NSW Professional of the Year
- Young Professional of the Year
- TAFE Student of the Year
- University Student Project of the Year
This Year was the first year Kennedy Surveying entered the awards for work undertaken on the Broadwater Biomass Cogeneration Plant over the past 8 years in the Infrastructure & Construction division. The gala dinner and awards ceremony was held on Friday 26th September at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney.
